Inertia Wellness

Stay in Motion

About Inertia

Inertia: a fundamental concept that describes the tendency of an object to remain in its current state of motion or rest unless acted upon by an external force.

In every day, we can observe this principle in action when we see objects continuing to move or staying still until something else changes their state.  At Inertia Wellness we aim to keep you moving toward your goals while putting to rest anything that interferes with your progress.

FAQ

What is life coaching?

Life coaching is a collaborative, goal-oriented process designed to help clients gain clarity, build confidence, overcome obstacles, and create meaningful change in their lives. Coaching focuses on the present and future by supporting personal growth, mindset shifts, accountability, and self-development.

Is coaching the same as therapy?

No. Coaching is not therapy, counseling, psychiatry, or medical treatment. Inertia Wellness does not diagnose, treat, or cure mental health conditions. Coaching is intended for personal development, self-exploration, mindset support, and goal achievement.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or require clinical support, please contact a licensed mental health professional or emergency services.

Are tarot readings part of therapy?

No. Tarot and intuitive guidance are offered as spiritual and reflective tools intended to encourage self-exploration, insight, and personal empowerment. They are not medical, psychological, or legal services and should not be interpreted as guaranteed predictions or professional advice.

Do you work with clients who have mental health conditions?

Coaching may be appropriate for some individuals. Including those who are also working with licensed mental health professionals. However, coaching is not a substitute for therapy or psychiatric care.

If it becomes clear that a client would be better supported by a licensed professional, referrals may be recommended or coaching services may be paused or discontinued.

Is everything discussed confidential?

Client privacy is respected and information shared during sessions is kept confidential to the extent permitted by law. However, coaching is not protected by therapist-client privilege laws.

In situations involving safety concerns, threats of harm, abuse, or legal obligations, appropriate action may be taken.

Do you offer emergency or crisis support?

No. Inertia Wellness does not provide crisis services, emergency mental health support, or on-demand counseling. If you are experiencing an emergency or mental health crisis, please call 911, contact a licensed mental health professional, or call/text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

How are sessions conducted?

Sessions may be offered virtually or in-person depending on availability and location. Clients will receive scheduling details and expectations prior to their appointment.

What is your cancellation policy?

Clients are asked to provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling requests. Missed sessions or late cancellations may be subject to fees or forfeiture depending on the service package selected.

Are results guaranteed?

No. Coaching is a collaborative process and results vary from person to person. While Inertia Wellness is committed to supporting each client’s growth, outcomes cannot be guaranteed.
